Storyteller. Freelance Writer. Entrepreneur.

I live in Sonoma with my kind-hearted husband Dan, my son Alexander, (my older son Nicolas is off to college), a dog Ella, three cats: Shelby, Amber and Martha. and 600 vines of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

I moved to the wine country in 1998 to start a new life–slow but sure, like the making of a fine wine. I write whenever I can, but more than anything I try to take in the moments of each precious day I am given. I strive to be a Dali Humana, playful and joyful as my two kitties on the left here.

I am a freelance writer, seasoned consultant to organizations and individuals in transition or in need of reinvention, and a dedicated volunteer to non-profit organizations.

It is here, I blog and muse about life, and its daily changes in the wine country.

My blog shares my love for daily spiritual practice, simplicity, writing, wisdom, truth, wine, gardening, reflections, friends, travel, poetry, a good book, good food, and sacred places.

I write about zen habits, hidden paths, music, romantic stories, places, art,  literature, psychology and philosophy. You name it!  These topical ingredients come together to make a delicious wine country blog.

We also make a fine wine called Nicolas Alexander.  We’d love to have you try it.

I look forward to sharing my life with you in the wine country.

Magic happens here.
